Programs
JCAN seeks to engage young, environmentally concerned Jews in learning and actions to improve our planet and work to create a just, sustainable future for the Jewish people and all peoples of the world. If you have suggestions for our current programming or would like to suggest something new, please feel free to contact us through the link on the menu bar.
Summit on Judaism and the Environment
Our flagship program, the Summit on Judaism and the Environment, is a month-long series of weekly evening meetings in Boston where participants learn about and discuss contemporary environmental issues from a Jewish perspective. This will include guest speakers, text studies, and films, and will culminate in each participating group proposing and enacting an environmental project or action that will be featured on our website. The summit is open to groups and individuals ages 18-25.
